Coptic Scriptorium's current NEH grant was terminated prematurely, suddenly, and unexpectedly.
How to give
You can support our efforts to keep our resources open source and open access! There are three ways to give:
- A tax-deductible charitable contribution to Coptic Scriptorium via the University of Oklahoma
- Visit the giving page for CS co-founder Caroline Schroeder's department
- Fill out the form and click on "I have additional comments about my gift"
- Write in "Coptic" or "Coptic Scriptorium"
- If you prefer to send a paper check, you may mail a check made out to "OU Foundation" to the Women’s and Gender Studies Department, The University of Oklahoma, 731 Elm Avenue, 101 Robertson Hall, Norman OK 73019.
- A tax-deductible charitable contribution to Coptic Scriptorium via Georgetown University
- Visit the giving page for CS co-founder Amir Zeldes's department
- Choose to support "Other," fill out the form, and write “Department of Linguistics, Coptic Scriptorium”
- A tax-deductible charitable contribution to the St. Shenouda Society, one of our research partners
- Visit the Society's Paypal page to make a donation
- Write in that it is for "Coptic Scriptorium"
All donations will be allocated directly to Coptic Scriptorium. Our two priorities are 1) continuing to employ our part-time post-doctoral researcher, and 2) maintaining our servers, which support access to resources such as the Coptic Dictionary Online, our searchable database, our platform to read Coptic literary documents, and much, much more.
